Michelle Spadafora, the founder of Faithful Workouts, gained a personal relationship with Jesus in 2003. As her faith grew, she became increasingly moved to share God’s love with others. She followed God’s leading to bring faith to her exercise platform by incorporating upbeat Christian music and Biblical messages into her workouts. The combination is powerful to help people become stronger, physically and spiritually. In 2008, God opened doors for her to bring this revolutionary Christian fitness plan to the world through TV, DVDs, books, and online programs.
Steve Reynolds has served as the senior pastor of Capital Baptist Church in Annandale, Virginia, since 1982. He is the author of the best-selling books, Bod4God: Four Keys to Weight Loss and Get Off The Couch. He is the co-author of The Healthy Renegade Pastor and Wise Up! He is also the creator of the Losing to Live Weight Loss Competition. He has lost over 100 pounds, has led his church to lose over 11 tons of weight and has literally helped thousands of people lose tons of weight. The media labeled him, “The Anti-Fat Pastor.” His story has been featured in local, national and international media, including FOX News, CNN, Nightline, Saturday Night Live, the Washington Post and the Chicago Tribune. Steve is a graduate of Liberty University and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Also he is a recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Louisiana Baptist University. He and his wife, Debbie, have three married adult children and four grandchildren.
Dan Cook is the founder and principal architect of Building God’s Way. Dan has led his team through the design of more than 700 ministry facilities and over 300 million square feet of cost effective education, athletic, and worship space nationwide. He has pioneered a number of innovative programs that have revolutionized the way churches and Christian schools are designed and built, enabling BGW to produce high-quality and functional facilities at costs that are consistently below market averages. Dan also teaches ministries how to practice stewardship of their building and resources through private enterprise and thus reach their community for Christ.
Michelle Medlock Adams is a certified Group Fitness and Bootcamp Instructor through the American Sports and Fitness Association and teaches fitness classes at Priority Fitness in Bedford, Indiana.
Michelle is an award-winning journalist and best-selling author, earning top honors from the Associated Press, the Society of Professional Journalists and the Hoosier State Press Association. Author of over 70 books with over 1 million books sold, Michelle’s latest release, Love & Care For The One and Only You (Worthy) was recently featured on the “Praise The Lord” program on the Trinity Broadcasting Network and a Christian Retailing Best Finalist for top devotional of 2015.
Since graduating with a journalism degree from Indiana University, Michelle has written more than 1,000 articles for newspapers, magazines and websites; acted as a stringer for the Associated Press; written for a worldwide ministry; helped pen a New York Times Bestseller; and served as a blogger for Guideposts. Today, she continues working as a TV host for TBN’s “Joy in Our Town” and successfully running her own freelance writing business.
Hannah Cox is the Spa Editor of Faith & Fitness Magazine and Wellness Department contributor. She is a licensed cosmetologist managing a salon in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Her professional passion is to deliver personal care services and celebrate the beauty of her clients not just as a physical practice but also as a spiritual ministry.
Debbie Brown is the Fitness Director at Houston’s First Baptist Church. Debbie brings leadership to her church fitness facility staff helping them to be a dynamic fitness ministry team. See her passion for combing fitness and faith come intensely alive as she leads group exercise classes.
Twyla Gurlea is a Gold Certified WholyFit Instructor, Coach and Mentor Trainer serving her community in Breckenridge, Colorado. She enjoys athletics of all kinds and has a background in volleyball, cycling and body building. In the Fall of 2014 she answered God’s calling to minister through fitness. Twyla lives her life according to 1 Corinthians 10:31 “Therefor, whether you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God.” She believes there can be lasting peace in everything we do when we honor the Lord. She teaches spiritual fitness first (1 Tim. 4:8) but also physical fitness, so we may have the strength, endurance and energy to carry out God’s will each and every day!
Kay Snow is a Gold Certified WholyFit Instructor, Coach and Mentor Trainer. She has been a Christian fitness instructor since 2008. Kay was certified and began teaching WholyFit classes in 2013 while living in Fort Meade, MD with her then active duty Air Force husband. Upon his retirement from the Air Force, they moved back to their home state of Texas where Kay began to rebuild her WholyFit class repertoire. She is currently teaching multiple WholyFit classes in The Woodlands / Spring / North Houston area. Kay is also available to teach personal or small group classes and loves to lead WholyFit sessions for women’s ministry groups or retreats.
